Abstract Terminology

Presentation times are strictly limited so candidates should not spend too much time on introductory material unless it is highly technical. Oral and poster presentations are considered of equal importance and the final format will be determined by the Scientific Program Committee.

The ISSVD is dedicated to improving communication about vulvar diseases. The use of ISSVD-approved terminology, therefore, is critical to the understanding of a candidate’s topic.

Candidates should review the pertinent current literature on his or her subject, as abstracts with incorrect terminology will not be accepted.
